The Challenge: Standard toasters didn’t fit the artisanal, long-slice sourdough bread popular in the client’s target market (Australia). They needed a versatile solution.
Our Solution:
Form Factor: Designed a long-slot chassis capable of fitting 2 long slices or 4 standard slices.
Browning Control: Implemented a 7-setting variable browning control with Defrost/Reheat/Cancel functions.
Cleaning: Added a removable crumb tray that slides out smoothly.
The Result: This model filled a gap in the client’s catalog, allowing them to compete in the high-end breakfast appliance sector.
